Transportation

Getting to Portland

Portland is served by the Portland Jetport, with direct flights to many locations around the country; the Amtrak Downeaster, which runs from Boston's North Station; and the Concord Coach, which operates routes from Boston's South Station and directly from Logan Airport.

Getting Around

Portland's METRO Bus runs multiple routes around the city and costs $2/ride.  Check their website for routes and schedules.

The city has a summer Bike Share program, which includes E-Bikes, with stations around town.

Best of all, Portland is extremely walkable.  The city is situated on a peninsula that is 1 mile wide by 3 miles long, and you can get most anywhere in the "Old Port" in under 20 minutes.  We highly recommend exploring Portland by foot!

Getting to the Wedding

We have arranged with Northeast Charter to provide shuttle bus service from the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa in downtown Portland to our venue at Spring Point Field at Southern Maine Community College.  The shuttle will pick up guests at the Regency to head to the venue at 3:00pm and 3:30pm.  Return shuttles will run at 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm.

There is ample parking at SMCC and rideshare service is generally available, if the shuttle's schedule does not work for you.
